#1: What I hope to get out of this

I really hope to get a better handle and understanding of how some of the mobile devices we are now being showered with can really effectively be used in the classroom.  I worry that many schools are just jumping on every next new bandwagon before really thinking things through from a logistical and a curriculum point of view.  As long as we are going to continue to get iPads and other mobile devices to use, I want to be armed with a variety of ideas for classroom teachers to put to use with these devices, so they feel their students are truly learning a skill and becoming a more digitally literate.  This is a super funny poster I found on the door of a bathroom at an eating establisment in the middle of South Dakota last summer.
